Wall of Tribute

The Wall of Tribute honors individuals who have served the schools and their students through selfless contributions of time and resources. The "wall "is located at the northeast end of the stadium and is an enduring monument to the recipients and their extraordinary gifts to the children of Woodland. A committee representing a broad cross section of the community makes the selection of the recipient. Honorees will be recognized in the fall at a varsity football game. District patrons are encouraged to nominate candidates for this prestigious award. Please download a nomination form which includes the necessary criteria to be included with the submittal. Nominations for this award can be submitted until June 30, 2008.
Board seeks input for planning next steps

District officials and the Woodland School Board are reaching out to citizens to determine how to proceed regarding future planning to alleviate overcrowding throughout the district. Woodland Intermediate Recognized by State as "School of Distinction"

Woodland Intermediate School has been named one of 86 “Schools of Distinction” by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for dramatic improvements in student reading and mathematics over the past several years.
On Wednesday, Woodland Superintendent Michael Green attended an awards ceremony hosted by Educational Service District 112 – one of nine sites throughout the state participating in a televised press event. He accepted the award on behalf of the school and returned to Woodland with a trophy and large banner that will be proudly displayed at Woodland Intermediate School, newly recognized as a “School of Distinction.”
