Wall of Tribute

Woodland School District is seeking nominations for the Wall of Tribute. The Wall of Tribute honors individuals who have served the schools and their students through selfless contributions of time and resources. The "wall "is located at the northeast end of the stadium and is an enduring monument to the recipients and their extraordinary gifts to the children of Woodland. A committee representing a broad cross section of the community makes the selection of the recipient. Honorees will be recognized in the fall at a varsity football game. District patrons are encouraged to nominate candidates for this prestigious award. Please download a nomination form which includes the necessary criteria to be included with the submittal. Nominations for this award can be submitted until June 30, 2008.

Board seeks input for planning next steps

As you know, the Woodland School District bond issue on the March 11 ballot received a 56% yes vote, failing to reach the required 60% super-majority. District officials and the Woodland School Board are reaching out to citizens to determine how to proceed regarding future planning to alleviate overcrowding throughout the district.
